The Hobart Legacy+ HL400 planetary mixer is a floor model with a 40 qt bowl and a 1 1/2 HP motor. It has 3 fixed speeds plus a stir speed, and a 20-minute SmartTimer. Hobart offers it in several power options; the electrical configuration and included accessories are confirmed with the quote.
The Legacy+ line
Maison Rondeau offers five Hobart Legacy+ planetary mixers, reachable through the selector on this page: two countertop models, the HL120 (12 qt) and the HL200 (20 qt), and three floor models, the HL300 (30 qt), the HL400 (40 qt) and the HL600 (60 qt).
According to Hobart's spec sheets, every model in the line has a SmartTimer, Shift-on-the-Fly controls, a bowl that swings out to the side to add ingredients, single-point bowl installation and a removable stainless steel bowl guard. The HL600 adds a power bowl lift and a fourth fixed speed.
